Wendy Thomson Named Assistant Region Director For Little League Canada

Wendy Thomson, a volunteer with the South Ottawa Little League for more than 16 years, has been named the Assistant Regional Director for Little League Canada, it was announced by Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mrs. Thomson will work out of the Canada Region Headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario. She replaces Marthe Dubroy who retired after spending more than 20 years as the Canada Region Coordinator.

The dates and sites for the eight Little League World Series tournaments in 2010 were approved today by the Little League International Board of Directors, it was announced by Stephen D. Keener, President and Chief Executive Officer of Little League Baseball and Softball.

The Little League International Board of Directors wrapped up two days of meetings this afternoon with one of the many items on the agenda, the approval of the dates for the 2010 Little League World Series tournaments in both baseball and softball.

Comme vous le savez, l’un des points à l’ordre du jour du 24e Congrès International de la Petite Ligue, qui s’est déroulé plus tôt cette année à Houston, était la stipulation voulant que tous les joueurs d’âge de ligue de 12 ans soient placés dans une équipe de la division majeure.

Le nouveau Règlement V.1 stipule que :
